Grandview's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. They put the hurt on Wyandotte with a sharp 15-0 win. Considering Grandview has won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Lincoln Worley was a standout: he scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jesus Rocha, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Grandview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .786. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Grandview's victory bumped their record up to 6-7-2. As for Wyandotte, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grandview will venture away from home to face off against Center at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wyandotte, they will head out to take on Washington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.45 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
