Basketball Recap: Cosumnes Oaks Comes Up Short

Cosumnes Oaks lost against Vista del Lago back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack were dealt a 67-30 loss at the hands of the Vista del Lago Eagles. The game marked the Wolfpack's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Leading Vista del Lago to victory were Bella Pallari and Kelsey Brooks. Pallari almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds, while Brooks went 8 for 11 on her way to 19 points in addition to five assists and three steals. Those 23 points gave Pallari a new career-high. Callie Jacobosky was another key player, putting up five points and five boards.

Cosumnes Oaks dropped their record down to 9-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Vista del Lago, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-11.

Cosumnes Oaks has already played their next match, a 70-42 loss against Monterey Trail on the 22nd. As for Vista del Lago, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-21 victory against Bella Vista on the 22nd.
