Baseball Recap: Bennington Comes Up Short

Bennington lost against Trinity on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs lost 11-1 to the Celtics. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bennington saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Bennington's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Trinity, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7.

Coming up, Bennington is taking a road trip to face off against Ellinwood at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season. Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
