Baseball Recap: Ridgeline Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Ridgeline dropped their record down to 8-12 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They took an 18-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bullpups this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 on Friday.

As for Gonzaga Prep, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-4. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Gonzaga Prep's part, Jack Pierce was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That home run was Pierce's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Brady Strahl, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with three RBI and one run.

As of now, neither Ridgeline nor Gonzaga Prep have any future games scheduled.
