Softball Recap: Mount Everett Regional Comes Up Short

Mount Everett Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Monument Mountain Spartans, falling 16-2. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

Mount Everett Regional saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aliyah Creamer, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Mount Everett Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Monument Mountain, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Mount Everett Regional will host McCann Tech on Saturday. As for Monument Mountain, they will venture away from home to square off against Pittsfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
