Volleyball Game Preview: Prairie Ridge Wolves vs. Benet Academy Redwings

Prairie Ridge hasn't had much luck against Benet Academy recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Wolves will take on the Redwings in a tournament on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Prairie Ridge comes in on three and Benet Academy on seven.

Prairie Ridge picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Belleville East.

Meanwhile, Benet Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Wheaton-Warrenville South on Friday, taking the game 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Benet Academy was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9.

Benet Academy's win bumped their record up to 28-2. As for Prairie Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 25-4.

Prairie Ridge came up short against Benet Academy in their previous meeting back in September, falling 2-0. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
