Union Grove came into Saturday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Broncos were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Blue Dukes, so the Broncos were just returning the favor.

Tyler Johnson paced Union Grove's offense, picking up seven kills. Johnson got some help from Alex Lapoint and his ten assists. Asher Gonzales controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Union Grove's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Whitefish Bay, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Union Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Notre Dame Academy on the 13th. As for Whitefish Bay, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Fort Atkinson on the 13th.
