After losing to Southern Boone the last time they met, Kirksville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Kirksville Tigers had just enough and edged the Southern Boone Eagles out 57-54. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers who have now won three matchups in a row.

Kirksville's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. As for Southern Boone, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kirksville will square off against Moberly at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southern Boone, they will face off against Osage at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Osage will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Southern Boone surely won't give up without a fight.
