Basketball Recap: Alabama Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Alabama Christian Academy was the 60-32 winner over Westminster School at Oak Mountain when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Alabama Christian Academy Eagles fell to the Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights 63-59. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (57), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Alabama Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Westminster School at Oak Mountain, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alabama Christian Academy will face off against Montgomery Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alabama Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Montgomery Academy likes a good challenge. As for Westminster School at Oak Mountain, they will head out on the road to take on John Carroll Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
