Basketball Recap: Holly Springs Comes Up Short

Holly Springs and Yazoo County squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Holly Springs had to settle for second. They took a 40-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yazoo County Panthers. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holly Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Yazoo County, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 21-5.

As of now, neither Holly Springs nor Yazoo County have any future games scheduled.
