Basketball Game Preview: Greeneview Rams vs. Dixie Greyhounds

The Greeneview Rams will challenge the Dixie Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Greeneview needed a bit of extra time to put away Southeastern Local. They secured a 60-55 W over the Trojans. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Dixie had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They strolled past the Knights with points to spare, taking the game 54-40. 54 seems to be a good number for the Greyhounds as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Dixie is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points per game. As for Greeneview, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.
