Soccer Recap: Virginia Academy Takes a Loss

Virginia Academy was the 4-0 winner over Highland when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that Virginia Academy have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Virginia Academy and nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for Highland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2-1.

Looking ahead, Virginia Academy will head out to square off against Seton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Trinity at Meadow View at 4:15 p.m.
