Basketball Recap: North Pole Piles Up the Points Against Tikigaq

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grace Christian, North Pole was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Tikigaq Harpooners, posting a 74-24 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their 29-point performance the matchup before.

North Pole's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Tikigaq, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

North Pole will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Monroe Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Tikigaq also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Kenai Central at 9:30 a.m. on January 2, 2025.
