Softball Recap: Sandusky Triumphs

Sandusky proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 16) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers 13-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Redskins have posted since April 28, 2025.

The win got Sandusky back to even at 3-3. As for Croswell-Lexington, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coincidentally, Sandusky and Croswell-Lexington will both be playing Meridian the next time they take the field. The Pioneers will head out to face the Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Redskins will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
