Volleyball Game Preview: El Segundo Eagles vs. Mira Costa Mustangs

El Segundo is 0-3 against Mira Costa since September of 2024 but things could change on Thursday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 3:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, El Segundo came up short against Redondo Union and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mira Costa, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against Palos Verdes on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Mustangs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30th (when they won 3-0).

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-15.

Mira Costa has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. As for El Segundo, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.
