Soccer Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Walden Grove Red Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Mountain Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 124th, while the Red Wolves are ranked 21st).

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Walden Grove, their win bumped their record up to 8-1-1.

Mountain View has already played their next matchup (against Vista Grande), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Walden Grove, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 victory against Mica Mountain on the 3rd.
