Volleyball Recap: Kit Carson Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Kit Carson challenged Granada on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Bobcats. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-10, 25-16.

Avery Johnson paced Kit Carson's offense, picking up eight kills. Johnson really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven. Shay Rady and Tressie Golding kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Kit Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Granada, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Kit Carson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Limon on the 4th.
