Basketball Game Preview: Tillamook Cheesemakers vs. Sutherlin Bulldogs

The Tillamook Cheesemakers will take on the Sutherlin Bulldogs in a tournament on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Tillamook will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Banks, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Tillamook snuck past Banks with a 53-49 win on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cheesemakers.

Meanwhile, Sutherlin had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Chieftains 61-23. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 30 points or more this season.

Sutherlin pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Tillamook, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
