Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Willow). They blew past the Bonnabel Bruins 16-0 on Saturday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Lions with their most commanding win of the season.

The team relied heavily on Eli Palmer, who scored two runs and stole three bases. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Willow always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Willow's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-10. As for Bonnabel, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 17-12 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Willow will welcome Belle Chasse at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bonnabel, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Riverdale at 4:00 p.m.
