Tandem Friends came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Monticello, falling 6-0. Tandem Friends have struggled against Monticello recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Fredericksburg Academy waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand King Abdullah Academy a 5-0 shutout.

Tandem Friends' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Fredericksburg Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
