Softball Recap: Northeast's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Ten

It's playoff time, and Northeast had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Severna Park Falcons with a sharp 8-1 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Northeast's tenth in a row) raised their record to 22-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.6 runs. As for Severna Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-1.

Northeast will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Falcons: the pair will be back at it again later today.
