Football Recap: Kamari Duncan and Jr Rowland Secure Win for Windsor Forest

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Long County, Windsor Forest was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured an 18-14 W over the Islands Sharks. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Sharks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

A big part of Windsor Forest's victory came down to the chemistry between Jr Rowland and his top target Kamari Duncan. Rowland rushed for 87 yards while Duncan picked up 93 receiving yards and one score. Those 93 receiving yards gave Duncan a new career-high.

Windsor Forest's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Islands, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Windsor Forest wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 32-15 victory against Johnson on the 24th. As for Islands, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-0 loss against Jenkins on the 24th.
