Volleyball Recap: Stratton Eagles vs. McClave Cardinals
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Stratton can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the McClave Cardinals on Saturday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September.
Sophie Isenbart paced Stratton's offense, picking up eight kills. Isenbart got some help from
Clare Miltenberger and her 16 assists.
Stratton's defeat dropped their record down to 22-7. As for McClave, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.
Stratton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McClave, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Fleming on the 16th.
