It was a good run, but Carrollton unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-match winning streak on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Knob Noster Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Jenna Owen paced Carrollton's offense, picking up 12 kills. Owen got some help from Kinsey Fisher and her 32 assists. Fisher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Carrollton's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Knob Noster, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 10-15-2.

Coming up, Carrollton will take on Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Knob Noster, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Smith-Cotton on the 14th.
