Football Recap: Steinbrenner Warriors vs. Largo Packers
Steinbrenner had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-6 to make it four. They fell 34-21 to the Largo Packers. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Packers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Steinbrenner's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylen Dutka, who threw for 349 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 33 yards and one score. A healthy portion of Dutka's aerial production (100 yards to be exact) went to Chance Robertson.
Even if they lost, Steinbrenner's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Connor Purcell refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. He was another major factor on D, picking up 1.5 sacks and making 11 total tackles (5.0 for loss).

Steinbrenner wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 58-0 loss against Armwood on the 17th.
