Baseball Recap: Bartlesville Comes Up Short

Bartlesville fell victim to Stillwater and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Pioneers, falling 10-0. The Bruins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pioneers earlier this season, when they won 4-0.

Bartlesville's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Stillwater, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bartlesville will venture away from home to face off against Ponca City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Stillwater, they will head out on the road to take on Fort Cobb-Broxton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
