Paiton Murphy turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Wednesday. She struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 5 strikeouts per game.
