Basketball Recap: Crane Extends Winning Streak to Three

Crane had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They strolled past the Blue Eye Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 59-45. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 39-36 loss the last time these two teams met.

Crane has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Blue Eye, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 9-1 record.

Crane and Blue Eye should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Crane will take on Early at 6:00 p.m. on Friday up 296 places (162 vs. 458). Meanwhile, Blue Eye (ranked 125th) will meet Bradleyville (ranked 548th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
