Softball Recap: Perry Triumphs

Perry posted their closest win since April 15, 2024 on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Central Crossing Comets 11-10.

Sophie Sivon made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. Sivon was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Perry got a massive performance out of Arianna Rogers, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs Rogers has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Rosalyn Tharp, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

The victory got Perry back to even at 1-1. As for Central Crossing, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Perry will face off against Antigo at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Crossing, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Jonathan Alder at 5:15 p.m. on April 2.
