Baseball Game Preview: Hudson Explorers vs. Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs

The Hudson Explorers will venture away from home to face off against the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hudson will be strutting in after a victory while Stow-Munroe Falls will be coming in after a defeat.

Hudson came out on top against Mayfield on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run seventh inning. The Explorers blew past the Wildcats 13-6. The Explorers have beaten the Wildcats the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wildcats has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Stow-Munroe Falls fell victim to Twinsburg and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 7-0.

Hudson's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Hudson beat Stow-Munroe Falls 10-5 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Do the Explorers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
