Verrado entered their tilt with Lake Havasu on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with  a   21-9  victory over the Knights. That's more bragging rights for the Vipers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Verrado found their leader in sophomore  Lakisha Guzman, who picked up  five  sacks and made seven total tackles.
 Verrado didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Madison Kesel and  Jhaylah Scisson. Verrado got some further help from  Guzman: she picked up  five  sacks and made seven total tackles.
Verrado's win bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Lake Havasu, their  defeat was their first of the  season and  makes their record 6-1.
 Looking ahead, Verrado will welcome La Joya Community  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Lake Havasu, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  13-7  loss against North on the 23rd.
