Basketball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by the Jacksonville Golden Eagles 66-32. While losing is never fun, the Golden Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 383rd, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 177th).

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Jacksonville, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-10.

Lincoln will welcome St. Clair County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln is facing St. Clair County at the right time seeing as St. Clair County is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Jacksonville, they will venture away from home to square off against Gaston at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
