Football Game Preview: Lincoln Wolves vs. Huntsville Eagles

Lincoln made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Green Forest, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wolves fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 38-35 on Friday. The Wolves just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Meanwhile, Huntsville came up short against Gentry on Friday and fell 21-9. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Huntsville, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Lincoln against Huntsville in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 44-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
