Volleyball Recap: Tolar Comes Up Short

Tolar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the North Central Texas Academy Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Tuesday.

Tolar was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-16.

Tolar's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Central Texas Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Tolar has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Graford on the 16th. As for North Central Texas Academy, they will challenge Wimberley at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
