Volleyball Recap: Lake Belton Comes Up Short

Lake Belton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Smithson Valley Rangers.

Lake Belton's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Smithson Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Lake Belton will face off against Glenn at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Smithson Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Jordan on the 23rd.
