Forrest County Agricultural waltzed into their game on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 45-38 win over the Poplarville Hornets. For the Aggies, this counts as revenge for the 37-26 victory the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Briahna Burt and Kelbie Young certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Burt dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds, while Young posted six points. That's the most points Young has posted since back in November of 2024.

Forrest County Agricultural is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Poplarville, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-17.
