Softball Recap: Charlotte Comes Up Short

Charlotte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Bath Fighting Bees.

Charlotte saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lela Moubray, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That stolen base was Moubray's first of the season.

Charlotte's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Bath, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Charlotte will host Haslett at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bath, they will head out to challenge Laingsburg at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolfpack's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Fighting Bees' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
