Baseball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Concord's offense. They came up short against the East Rowan Mustangs on Monday, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-6 defeat back in March.

Concord has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for East Rowan, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

Concord does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Rowan, they will face off against Lake Norman Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
