Recap: Cypress Ranch Mustangs vs. Waxahachie Indians
The Cypress Ranch Mustangs pushed their score all the way to 59 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 70-59 to Waxahachie. Cypress Ranch lost against Waxahachie in their previous head to head back in December of 2018, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 65-43 score last time.
Parker Jefferson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Waxahachie, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 13 rebounds. Jefferson set a new season high mark in points with 28. The team also got some help courtesy of King Grace, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds.
Cypress Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Waxahachie, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cypress Ranch is on the road again on Friday and play against Cypress Park at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. As for Waxahachie, they will challenge Lancaster at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
