Recap: Anna Coyotes vs. Kennedale Wildcats
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Anna Coyotes had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-45 victory over the Wildcats. The victory was nothing new for Anna as they're now sitting on four straight.
It was another big night for Brandon Webber, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds. Jacob Emmers was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Anna has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 20-14 record this season. As for Kennedale, their defeat dropped their record down to 29-5.
Anna will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Eastern Hills at 7:30 p.m. on February 27th. Eastern Hills will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something Anna surely won't give up without a fight. Kennedale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
