West Orange-Stark had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 19-0 margin over the Sabine Pass Sharks. That 19 run margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

Kyla Blagburn made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Blagburn was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.

In other pitching news, Kensley Waller looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Back at the plate, Alexia Guyton was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Soleil Smith was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

West Orange-Stark always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .828. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sabine Pass only posted an OBP of .400.

West Orange-Stark's win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Orange-Stark will square off against Deweyville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sabine Pass will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Danbury at 5:00 p.m. on March 4th.
