Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union Grove Christian). They managed a 71-67 victory over the Living Water Christian Warriors on Tuesday. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Warriors are ranked 258th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Union Grove Christian was led to victory by Colin Wykes and Ben Johnson. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Living Water Christian, they moved to 8-6 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
Union Grove Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-40 victory against Cramerton Christian Academy on the 19th.
