Mountain Ridge faced Corner Canyon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Sentinels sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Chargers. This was a revenge game for the Sentinels: when they faced off against the Chargers on Tuesday, they had to take a 10-8 defeat.

Karson Fankhauser tossed a big game, tossing 5.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
