Everything went their way against the Reidsville Rams as the Morehead Panthers made off with a 15-5 victory. 15 seems to be a good number for Morehead as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Zachary Grogan was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brittyn Barnes, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3.
The victory was the third in a row for Morehead, bringing their record for this year to 22-1. As for Reidsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.
Morehead will head out on the road to challenge West Stokes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Stokes is on a three-game streak of home wins, Morehead a nine-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Reidsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
