Football Recap: DePaul Catholic Spartans vs. St. Joseph Regional Green Knights
On Saturday, DePaul Catholic faced St. Joseph Regional in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The DePaul Catholic Spartans walked away with a 28-21 win over the St. Joseph Regional Green Knights. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 36-31 victory the Green Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

Bailey was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 56 yards. Another player making a difference was Geis, who threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes.
DePaul Catholic's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for St. Joseph Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
