Season Preview:
With the graduation of four starters from last year's squad, the Lakers need to develop chemistry early to contend for an invitation to their fifth consecutive GEICO Nationals.

La Lumiere has proven to be  one of the nation's premiere basketball academies over the past five seasons, going a combined 128-12 while capturing its first and only GEICO Nationals' title in 2017.

Despite losing the bulk of their production from last season, the Lakers bring in a plethora of talented transfers headlined by projected starters Sochan, Ivey and Thompson.

They return one starter in Green Jr., and highly touted sophomore Lands also returns with an increased role and high expectations. The Lakers may not possess the firepower of previous seasons, but they are always well coached and compete every possession.

Their schedule is challenge to say the least, traveling to the Chick-fil-A Classic and facing No. 4 Prolific Prep, No. 17 Gonzaga and No. 21 Sunrise Christian Academy.
