Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Sutton

Sutton came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Superior Wildcats 3-0. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sutton was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9, 25-13.

Kamryn Steinhauer paced Sutton's offense, picking up 13 kills. Steinhauer got some help from Avery Smith and her 18 assists. Steinhauer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Sutton's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Superior, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sutton will venture away from home to face off against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Superior, they will head out to take on Milford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
