Basketball Recap: Monmouth-Roseville Takes a Loss

Monmouth-Roseville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 50-39 to the Peoria Notre Dame Irish.

Monmouth-Roseville's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Peoria Notre Dame, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-15 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monmouth-Roseville has already played their next contest (against Kewanee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Peoria Notre Dame has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Bloomington.
