Football Recap: Chavez Comes Up Short

Chavez came into this matchup off a tough 48-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Taft Wildcats by a score of 15-12 on Friday. The Titans gained 199 more yards on the day, but it was the Wildcats that made the best use of them.

Despite the loss, Chavez still got an impressive performance from Armindev Bhatti, who rushed for 135 yards and one score while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Bhatti also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making one tackle.
