Soccer Recap: Los Osos Takes a Loss

Los Osos lost against Upland back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Los Osos Grizzlies fell 4-2 to the Upland Highlanders/Scots. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 382nd, while the Highlanders/Scots are ranked 54th).

Los Osos' defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-9-4. As for Upland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Los Osos will face off against Damien at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Los Osos is facing Damien at the right time seeing as Damien is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Upland, they will take on Etiwanda at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Upland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
